Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Proofly, including the Proofly Chrome extension, website, account features, product analysis, saved history, cached results, and license activation.
1. Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using Proofly, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Proofly.
2. Proofly's purpose
Proofly helps users research products by summarizing public product discussions and community comments from supported sources. Proofly provides informational product research and should be used as one input in your own decision-making.
Proofly does not guarantee that a product is good, safe, authentic, available, fairly priced, or suitable for you. You are responsible for your purchases and for checking seller terms, warranties, shipping rules, return rules, and product details before buying.
3. Accounts and security
You may need an account to use some Proofly features. You are responsible for keeping your login secure, maintaining accurate account information, and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at support@proofly.im if you believe your account or license has been used without permission.
4. Plans, subscriptions, and license keys
Proofly may offer free and paid plans. Free plans may include limited usage. Proofly Pro is activated through a Gumroad license key and is tied to account-based usage limits. Current launch pricing and plan details are shown on the pricing page or in the extension.
- Free access may be limited by monthly analysis count, feature availability, history limits, and cached result access.
- Proofly Pro currently includes 100 analyses per month and one account seat unless stated otherwise at purchase.
- Subscription billing, cancellation, receipts, and payment method handling are managed by Gumroad.
- License keys are for the purchaser or authorized account and may not be sold, published, shared publicly, or abused.
- We may suspend or revoke access if a license is refunded, charged back, cancelled, expired, fraudulent, or used in violation of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Proofly for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or privacy-invasive activity.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, subscription checks, seat limits, authentication, or license validation.
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, redistribute, or exploit Proofly except as allowed by law.
- Use Proofly to collect private messages, private account data, sensitive personal data, or confidential information.
- Interfere with Proofly, supported platforms, source websites, infrastructure, or other users.
- Use automated systems to overload Proofly or supported source platforms.
6. Public sources and third-party platforms
Proofly may interact with publicly available product-related pages, posts, comments, and metadata from supported sources. Source availability can vary by platform, page, region, authentication state, rate limits, browser behavior, and third-party changes. Proofly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by supported platforms unless explicitly stated.
You are responsible for following applicable third-party terms when you use Proofly with external websites or platforms.
7. AI-generated analysis
Proofly may use AI systems to summarize and organize public product discussion. AI-generated results can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or influenced by the quality and availability of public source data. You should review source context and use your own judgment before making a purchase.
8. Content and ownership
Proofly, including its design, code, branding, logos, workflows, and generated interface, is owned by Proofly or its licensors. You retain any rights you have in information you submit, but you grant Proofly the rights needed to provide the service, process requests, store history, generate analyses, handle support, and operate the product.
9. Updates and changes
We may update Proofly, change features, adjust limits, add or remove supported sources, modify pricing for future billing periods, or discontinue parts of the service. We will try to communicate material changes where appropriate.
10. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are described in the Refund Policy. Gumroad handles payment processing and subscription cancellation tools.
11. Termination
You may stop using Proofly at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Proofly or others, misuse license keys, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.
12. Disclaimers
Proofly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, complete source coverage, or that Proofly will identify every relevant buyer signal. Product research is informational and is not legal, financial, medical, safety, or professional advice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofly and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost purchases, platform changes, source unavailability, or buying decisions made using Proofly.
